Are you in an administrator CMD prompt? I would try that first. If you weren't, then ClientSetup.exe may be elevating when it starts with Windows asking if it can make changes to your computer. When that happens, you may be changing user context so that the net use is not there for the new admin user. So if you're logged in as UserA and it elevates to user Admin, your net use command is under UserA, not Admin so ClientSetup won't see the mapped drive.
