  • 1.  Importing into cycle for Journal Entries

    Hi,

    I wrote an SSIS package to import JL entries into SL.  For some reason my cycle value of 3 is not being imported.  Is there some reason why we wouldn't be able to import into this field?

    What exactly are you doing in the SSIS package?  Are you calling TI?  Or just doing a SQL insert?

    What BatType value did you enter?

    Hi Marc,

     

    It's using a stored procedure to bring values in from one table and insert them into the GLTran and Batch table.  I noticed that the Battype was supposed to be changed to R so I fixed that problem, however I didn't know if anyone had issues importing into cycle before.  It seems like a fairly simple thing to update.
