Assistance with DSL Database Mapping

    Hi All,

I have a screen, 04.250.05, which I am trying to find the underlying database table in which this data is stored.

Can anyone direct me to a resource that defines this or can anyone point me to the right table?

    Thanks in advance.

As Jonathan said, PurOrdDet - but it also may be reading/writing from POReqDet.

In the help menu there will be a schema document for the version you're on, it can be helpful once you know where you're looking.

Another trick you can use is to open the screen in customization mode, then look at the properties of the controls you are after.

With the Receipt and Voucher Amounts window open, press Ctl-Alt-C to get into Customization mode. Then select one of the text boxes, and press F4 for the property list.

In the 'FieldName' property, you will see the table and the field, such as 'bpurorddet.qtyrcvd'. (Of course, drop the b from the table name and you are all set.)

    Good suggestions all.

You might also consult the Report Assistant for SL 2011 for Purchasing.  It includes screen shots of major screens with database table and column references for each field on the screen.  I don't think it includes your particular PO subscreen, but you may still find it useful going forward.

You might still find these in CustomerSource, or from your Dynamics SL partner.
