    Hi there,

I'm having an issue with using the transaction import to import purchase orders where if the PO has multiple detail lines, TI only imports the first detail line. Why does this happen? How can I make it import all the lines?

    Thanks!

Without seeing your DTA file and CTL file it's hard to say, but generally you need to put successive lines for each additional line of detail within the DTA file.  So for conversation, the first field in the DTA line tells the CTL file which level to input data.  Below is a representation of your DTA file that would generate 3 PO's, the first with 3 lines, second with 2 lines and third with 1 line.  I've added indents to help you visualize it, but these would NOT be put into your DTA.

    POHeader, Columns_For_PO_Number1
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number1_Detail_Line1
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number1_Detail_Line2
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number1_Detail_Line3
    POHeader, Columns_For_PO_Number2
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number2_Detail_Line1
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number2_Detail_Line2
    POHeader, Columns_For_PO_Number3
            PODetail, Columns_For_PO_Number3_Detail_Line1

    Hope this helps!
