Project Transaction Transfer (PTT) woes

Is anyone successfully using Project Transaction Transfer (PTT)?  We've been trying to use if for the past year.  Of the 56 PTT batches we've done, none have successfully completed all the way through (including showing correctly on reports) without behind the scenes intervention.  We are told that some of the issues we've identified are known issues.  We were even promised a hotfix at one point, although that was later rescinded.  The fact that one cannot attach documents means that we're still pushing paper around for the backup documentation.  Okay, technically it's possible to attach files, you just never get to see them again.  Staff have rebelled and are back to sending spreadsheets around to request transfers.  I really wanted PTT to work.  It could have been such a wonderful feature...

    Hi Mary,

We use Project Transaction Transfer (PTT) all the time without issue.  We don't do attachments.  I would think that attachments would work the same for that screen if you setup it up correctly in Attachment Configuration naming that screen and where to save the attachment.

FYI - at the Attachment Configuration screen, if you type in Default and Default  for the screen number and table, every possible location for an attachment would be available.

Hope this helps....let me know if it doesn't.

    Hi Mary,

Have you considered using SharePoint for your attachments?
