Voucher Select Status

    Good morning

    Is there a way to change the selected status of a voucher after voiding the cheque for that voucher? We currently have vouchers where the cheque was voided, a debit adjustment was created to be applied against the voucher, but the voucher status is selected and therefore we are unable to apply the debit adjustment.

    I'm assuming you have released the Void Check batch.    Can you also confirm that the voucher is not listed in the check preview?   In theory, documents created in the "Edit/Select Documents for Payment"  screen should be in the check preview.

    If you processed the void check, that would have reinstated the voucher.   If someone then used the Payment Selection Processing screen, they could have automatically picked up that reinstated voucher in the check run.

    I'll monitor this thread in case it's not in a check batch.

    Currently we have no open payment batches and the voucher has been reinstated to the vendor account.

    Hi Stephanie,

    You have to do a zero dollar check run for the debit adjustment to be applied to the voucher.  We do a payment selection based upon reference number and chose the DA and voucher numbers, then print the check for $0.

    If the voucher can't be selected for part of the this process, then it is part of a payment batch that hasn't printed yet.
