System Message 7009

    Folks,

     Client created a new user and is receiving the following error when the user tries to login.

     

    I ran "Synchronize All Database Ownership & Security"  and Update Views.

    No other users are having difficulties logging in.

    They are on SL2018 CU1 using Windows Authentication. New user is setup in Active Directory.

    Any thoughts?

    ​Hi David - on SL15 CU2, but we randomly saw this yesterday w/ a user who was logging into our test environment for the first time. Turned out they had input the incorrect Server Name / Database Name combo (they had been given the incorrect combo). Then when clicking connect, started receiving the 7009 error.

    We had them Close Company > Find Database > input correct Server Name / DB Name combo and Create Database which did the trick.
