    We have a client with a single very large app DB (+250 Gb) and over 1,000 companies in the database. 

    I wondered if anyone has heard of 3rd party software that can split out companies from one database to a separate new database(s).  

    I know Plumbline has a Database Merge product but we are thinking about the other way.

    I have done that before by writing SQL scripts. I'm pretty sure Price Brattin's (RIP) utilities, that Plumbline Consulting acquired, included this capability.
