The 1060200.exe preprocess calls DMG_CheckMissingHistoryRecords stored procedure and counts a number of items with problems and passes that count back to the preprocess which pops the message if the count is not zero.
We've found via digging into the DMG_CheckMissingHistoryRecords stored procedure at least 2 causes for an item to be considered a "problem": 1 was a non-stock item entered on an OM Transfer Order (was pushed via SQL, the screen doesn't let you) and the other was a 2-step inventory transfer batch which was marked received, but wasn't actually received. Both needed fixed via SQL.
Hope this helps!

Subject: System Message 16227 Missing fiscal records exist in item history Please run inventory integrity check using the rebuid history option
Hi Everyone,
I started receiving a system message 16227 when running inventory reports. I run an inventory integrity check as it states which cleared some reported issues but I keep getting the message. Where do you think I should start next.
