We currently use Flexible Billings in SL and we have split week timecards.  This means we have a timecard with the period 11/28-11/30 and another from 12/1-12/4.  All the billable hours on the week-ending 11/30 timecard run through allocator and post to our accrued revenue account in the Nov 2022 period to post. And all the labor on the week-ending 12/4 timecard allocate & post to Dec 2022.  This is working well for us.

We are considering using UKG for timecard entry but they told us they cannot accomodate the split week timecard.  This means the timecard would cover the period 11/28-12/4.  We tried testing this in SL and it allocated & posted all billable hours on that timecard to Dec 2022.

Is there a way to get the labor from Nov to post to Nov and the labor from Dec to post to Dec if it's on the same timecard?

If not, how do you accrue for the Nov labor that posted to Dec?

Thank you so much for your help/suggestions!

    1. A massive reversing General Ledger entry which will probably make a mess of your invoices and make your job far more difficult,
    2. Have the third party product export to Excel by date and paste into Project Timesheet Entry (with the option to create Time Cards from Timesheet Entry selected.)
    3. Try the time entry product from Solomon Cloud solutions.  I have not used it, but I saw an extensive demo of it and it looked really good and very easy to implement.

Not sure about the allocator question but I will say that we use UKG Ready and have been extremely pleased.  The ability to create saved views of screens/reports and email them on a schedule is extremely helpful.
